The Importance of Education in Islam

The aim of Islamic teaching is to provide a code of conduct for human society that is in line with perfect faith and confidence in Allah and His Messenger. If we turn the pages of Islamic history and look at the role of this small and insignificant group that wiped out the coercive sultans like Qaisar and Qasr from the face of the earth.

So it is clear that the secret of their success lies in perfect faith in Allah and firm adherence to the guidance of His Messenger, If there is a better educational framework, it is the one that Islam has given to the world.

The reason for this is that the Islamic education system seeks to raise human society in terms of justice, morality and purity. The Islamic education system founds a code of beliefs and good habits compared to non-religious elements and underlines good character.

Because atheism or materialism does not provide peace of mind, heart, and soul to any nation, while in Islam, education is related to religion, morality, and civility, so Muslims have been called Khair-ul-Imam. In the family of Imran, the Almighty says: "O Muslims, you are better than all the nations that have been born in the world. Islamic education is that it establishes the mental, intellectual and intellectual abilities of the youth in high human values. The Islamic educational system has a lofty goal in mind, and that goal is to instill good conduct in society. He said that there should be a round of justice in the society, no one's rights should be violated, no one should be respected, no one's heart should be hurt, the pleasure of the Creator and salvation because of the Hereafter. Individual and collective responsibilities should be fulfilled honestly and diligently. In fact, schooling is a common process.

The word education means to teach or guide, because through education the concealed and essential abilities of the child are brought to work as if education includes the aspect of training the child, so it is in the hadith, the Prophet said. He said: "Allah has made my evolution and drill better."

Every nation, every society educates its children or individuals according to its needs, purpose of life, ideologies, and beliefs. To do, to know oneself, to search for the truth of the universe, that is, science is real knowledge. Thus The Islamic system of education takes into account the welfare of both religion and the world, the individual, and the community. Only the search for truth is called education. Plato described the stable organization of society as an institution. Aristotle described education as a means of physical and mental training, but Islam considers the training of both body and soul as the goal of education to purify caste and society.

In Islam, education is a determining process, which can lead to the betterment of the individual and society. The purpose of education is not only to sequence the natural character of man but also to obtain the knowledge of charm. The drive and practice of education in Islam are to maintain the connection with the religion and to perform the duties of increasing its physical powers. In fact, education is a process whose needs and problems are constantly changing. Education is about linking with the changing needs and ambitions of society and the development of individuals. The Islamic education system is fully capable of meeting the mental, physical, emotional, and social needs of the individual and the community. The education system of each country and nation agrees to its specific ideology, so in the present age, a particular ideology is taught.

It is estimated that during the completion of a five-year curriculum on teaching methods, students have to spend about 500 hours teaching common concepts. In light of this fact, if It is not a bad thing to be informed. The important thing in this regard is that it is necessary to clearly define the objectives of any education system.

Since Pakistan is an Islamic state, the aim of the education system in Pakistan should be to revive Islamic ideologies or Islamic values. Teachers and parents keep touching in this direction, it is a waste of time, money, and stage. The teaching process is worthless without an objective setting. Teaching is useless for both teachers and students.

Secondly, no specific procedure can be adopted without setting a goal. Goal setting also enables teachers and there is no complication in reaching the destination. To do so, you must first figure out where you want to go and how you want to get there. If the determination of the path is not correct, then there is no benefit from the formal education and training of children. In Pakistan, unfortunately, children are educated in many ways and curricula.

Rich people have made English the medium of instruction and they send their children to big schools and colleges. From day one, these children have thought of becoming No. 1 citizen. Education is good in government schools and colleges, but the problem is that children are forced to go on strikes and processions. People who are very poor and weak send their children to madrassas because Islamic education is necessary for an Islamic country.

Masha Allah Quran memorizing children also come out of these madrassas, but later on, the educated children of these madrassas and other schools and colleges cannot be harmonized. The ways of life are very different, which creates problems and difficulties in society. The country should, of course, provide education in regional, provincial languages, but it is important to have a one-tier education system at one level.
