The third wave of Corona and Pakistan

The intensity of the third wave of Corona is deadly.

India is facing a crisis in its history. Earlier it was about providing oxygen but now it is even worse, as it is now having trouble disposing of the bodies.

The Hindu majority is having trouble handing over the bodies to the fire and the Muslim minority is having difficulty in burying their loved ones and loved ones. The crematorium is now open 24 hours a day. Cemeteries are shrinking due to the influx of bodies. Why did this happen? What caused the third wave of Corona to rise?

India claims to be the largest democracy in the world. But why has the greatest democracy failed to do the right thing for its people? The Modi government was ready for this human tragedy to the extent of paper statements but not in reality. They seem unaware of this epidemic. Seriousness was missing from the strategies and plans of the Modi government. And now the whole of India is crying and the government is still unable to deal with this situation. He allowed the Kumbh gathering, which is one of the main reasons for the increase in Corona cases.

The situation is similar in Pakistan. We are still not in the mood to feel the gravity of the current situation. We are still reluctant to take any drastic measures in view of the situation in India. We are still busy with gatherings. The situation in India is not being taken as an early reminder of the precautionary measures against Corona. Who will take responsibility? NCOC? Interior Ministry? Department of Health? Law enforcement agencies? Or someone else? At the moment, no one seems to be bothered by the severity of the current situation.

India ignored it and faced a crisis. Pakistan is also not in a mood to deal with this situation and may face the crisis of its history. Talking to some shopkeepers and street vendors, he said that Corona had no problem and the government was only trying to shut down their business. What a wonderful way to screw people over. We are still treating this epidemic as a joke. If we are lax in handling it, not only our government and institutions but also the people are not aware of the harms of this epidemic. Who is responsible for talking to local traders about exacerbating the problem?

Lockdown during Eid was such that if you could give something to someone, you could continue your business even if the shutters were closed. On the other hand, if you are not willing to pay anything, or are not able to, you could face severe penalties or heavy fines. Even law enforcement agencies do not seem serious about removing crowds from local markets. And they only insist on showing their presence in the media. No one, be it the local administration or the law enforcement agencies, seems to be interested in stopping the crowds in the local markets and on the highways.

In addition, we rely entirely on vaccine doses given as gifts and donations from other countries. The government of Pakistan does not yet seem to have a clear intention to purchase the vaccine. If we are not investing in the purchase of vaccines, then how can a single dose of this vaccine be given to the entire population? This is uncertain. There is no question that we cannot provide two doses of vaccine to the whole of Pakistan through donations.

Lacking interest in the fight against Corona, India faced a crisis. If we do not take it seriously, Pakistan will also face this crisis. India is four times larger than Pakistan in terms of population, resources and manpower. So just think, if he failed to deal with the situation, what would we be able to do if a crisis spread here in Pakistan? We are relying only on the abandoned oxygen plant of Pakistan Steel Mill.

We need a collective effort. Behaviors and attitudes need to change dramatically. The government, law enforcement agencies and the people can work together to defeat the epidemic, otherwise the situation will worsen in the coming days. As the hands of the clock are ticking, time is passing fast, we are failing to make the necessary effort. But there is still time. Lockdown on papers only is not required. Act wisely, not show off. In fact, show some rigor. This is a real world facing human tragedy. Decisions have to be made away from an imaginary world, otherwise nothing will happen. If we survive this epidemic, we can do business at another time. If we get out of this sea of troubles, we can reorganize gatherings and events.

Attitude, attitude and attitude is the only thing that needs to change. The intensity of the third wave of Corona is deadly. This is not a joke but a bitter truth. Let's listen to the screams of our neighbors and try to get some seriousness in response. Otherwise, we could be exposed to the third wave of this epidemic.

Raipur: In the Indian state of Rajasthan, a number of diseases affecting the human brain, lungs, nose or throat, myocorrhiza, or black fungus, have been declared an epidemic.

According to Indian media, black fungus has been declared an epidemic under the Outbreaks Act 2020 due to the presence of 100 patients with myocorrhiasis in hospitals in Rajasthan.

In India, the disease first targeted patients recovering from corona, but now the disease is spreading rapidly to other people. In this infection, fungi belonging to the genus Myocorrhizae take root in the human brain, lungs or nose / throat and begin to grow. It should be noted that this infection, which is commonly called "black fungus", is called "mycobacterium tuberculosis" in the language of medical science, which is very rare under normal circumstances but kills 54% of its victims.
